How often should I wash my wig?
Everyone is different / depending on daily wear / hair spray / smoke / climate - approximately every 12-15 wearings or every 4-6 weeks.

How do I return / exchange a wig?
If you wish to exchange or return your purchase, simply follow the easy instructions on the back of your packing slip that came with your order. You have 60 days to return your purchase. If you make a return after the 60 day period you will be charged a $10 restocking fee for each item. Returns for refunds/exchanges will not be accepted after 90 days of original purchase. You must enclose your original packing slip, or we will be unable to process your return or exchange. Remember, BeautyTrends' Guarantee of Satisfaction applies to all your purchases. And we always pay the return shipping and handling charges to you when merchandise is exchanged. Original order shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

How long does a wig last? That depends on how often you wear it and under what conditions. If you are constantly in a smoke or pollution filled environment or wear the same wig every day. However, a good wig, with even the simplest care can last up to 6 months. We recommend that a woman who wears a wig have more than one so that she can interchange them on a daily basis.

Can these wigs be cut? Yes, but we don't recommend it because they may lose curl, style, etc. They may be trimmed or thinned slightly, but it is recommended it be done by a beautician.

Can these wigs be dyed? No. They are synthetic fiber, color will not adhere, fiber will not absorb. Dye will come off.

Can I wear glasses? Yes. All wigs have "open ear tabs", glasses will slide under for natural look and comfort.

Are the colors natural looking? Yes, natural hair has tones and highlights, and all of our wig colorations feature built-in tones and highlights for a more natural, youthful look.

Can I use hairspray? Yes. A water-based hairspray... we recommend Adolfo, Revlon or BeautyTrends wig spray. It will wash out when cleaned. Excessive use of spray may dull or straighten fiber. DO NOT BRUSH OR COMB WHILE WIG IS WET WITH SPRAY.

What can I do if after washing several times, wig is dull? Use synthetic wig conditioner or try our own BeautyTrends wig lusterizer for natural and synthetic fibers.  This adds luster and brings back life to dulling fiber.

What makes a wig a good wig? A good wig gives you the latest construction techniques with the best fiber blend possible to provide a more natural, more comfortable, and a more youthful look. What are your wigs and hairpieces made from? All our wigs and hairpieces are made with the finest fiber. We use 100% Kanekalon® which is a modified acrylic fiber or modacrylic for short. Kanekalon® has been especially formulated to produce an irregular-shaped cross section which closely resembles human hair.

Where are your wigs and hairpieces made? Our fiber, Kanekalon® is made in Japan . Our wigs and hairpieces are then finished in either China , Indonesia or Thailand.
